How I Help 55+ Buyers and Downsizers
I started my career selling new construction inside two of the area’s best-known 55+ communities: Sun City Huntley for Del Webb, and Carillon Club in Naperville for D.R. Horton. That is where I learned these neighborhoods from the clubhouse out — how the HOA budgets work, which floor plans buyers keep asking for, and the questions people wish they had asked before they closed.
Most of my clients today are making two moves at once: selling a home they have lived in for years and buying something that fits the next chapter, often in an active adult community. That takes a plan for both sides — pricing and preparing the house you are leaving, choosing the right community, and lining up the dates so you are never stuck in between.

Fishing is My Hobby
When I graduated from Illinois State University in 2005, my parents’ graduation gift to me was a seven-day trip to Eagle Lake in Ontario for some of the best Musky and Pike fishing at Temple Bay Lodge.
I went on this Canada fishing trip with my Dad and two brother-in-laws for six years. We experienced some incredible years of Walleye, Pike, and Musky Fishing.
I have been in search of catching a 50″ Musky, but I haven’t caught it yet. I caught this 48″ Musky that was in about 1 foot of water. I thought I hooked a rock, but then my line started moving, and this giant flew out of the water. I fought it for about 5 minutes as it kept taking out drag, my line got caught on a rivet on the boat, BUT I was finally able to get it in the boat and capture this photo!
